No tax dollars to help build AI data centers.

I do not support them in our county and will fight them in any way I can. I spoke at the Bristol rezoning meeting on July 9th, 2026 in opposition.

The way we get to and from work should be the least of our worries and yet I know people who get at least one new wheel every year.

Our county government has not been open with the people they should serve. Meeting times are difficult to attend for the average person.

The council needs to support funding projects that would provide affordable housing. This would be much easier with cooperation between the county and cities/towns.

Our County Parks are a great place for all of us to enjoy our lives outside of work.

Elkhart County does not have a “Responsible Bidder’s Ordinance”. The surrounding cities and counties do. These require anyone who bids on a contract for a project of $150,000 or over to meet a list of criteria to make sure they are legitimate and benefit out community by providing education and jobs.

The county is currently too lenient when companies do not complete the requirements for tax abatements. They often pass companies that are not close.

Our current county government is a club that we aren’t in. Once elected they don’t feel like our input is important. I plan on holding montly meetings at libraries to update on meetings, answer questions, and hear concerns to take back to the next meeting.
